Diëgo Nurse

Diëgo’s talents are very broad, from directing, filming and editing of various video productions to being in front of the camera himself or by doing some modeling work and hosting to expand his horizons.

He hails from Paramaribo Suriname, where he is no stranger to TV. In the early days of his career, he starred in the first Surinamese children’s movie Sjommie and hosted a few tv shows. Since there was no real film industry in Suriname, he looked outside of Suriname to further his career. He was accepted into the New York Film Academy in 2009, but unfortunately was not able to secure a scholarship to be able to attend the Academy. He then moved to Amsterdam where he started studying Computer engineering. After a year he quit his studies to follow his passion and moved to Belgium to study filmmaking at the Luca School of arts.
